Our Band

Manjusri Concert Band had a new start since 2009. Our Alumnus , Mr Ed Tan and Mr Yeo Jie Yuan, have joined us in strength assuming the role of music directors for our band.

Focusing on enriching the members in music, discipline, leadership and developing strong esprit de corps, the band organises camps, music exchange programmes and workshops to improve the skills of its members.

Under new directives, our band will be looking forward to performing in the Singapore Youth Festival 2011.

Reminders :
  • NOTE THAT SEPTEMBER HOLIDAY GOT 3 DAYS OF BAND PRACTICE ! Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • This month, everyone must pay extra $3
  • You have to bind your warm up booklets together and you have to use your own sections money not the band funds' ( Reminder to SLs )

*Considerations will be made for Muslim students for Friday prayers

1. Please note that lunch will not be provided ( except for the music exchange on 11 September ) and that you will have to make your own arrangements for lunch in the school canteen or at the Ubi Estate coffee shops

2. It would be nice if you attend all session. Please ensure to make time for all your homework and that you spend time during the holidays to catch up on self-revision
