Reflection on the SAF band concert

I would like to write my reflection on the concert as it is a stunning band. I hope that after sharing my experience with you, you will attend the next concert with us.

The concert was fabulous. At the beginning when they were playing the national anthem, the clarinets sounded almost like the flute! It was a Eb clarinet and amazingly, it was not out of tune.
And the band itself were slightly more than what we have but could sound like they had over 100 over players! If they were able to produce such a nice, loud and rich sound, I am sure that we can achieve it too.

Also, their percussion players were very confident. Each and every player plays their instrument as if they are playing solo. Loud, clear and confident. I can hear them clearly even though I was not sitting in the front.

The double bass player was someone that I really admired. I noticed that the whole concert, he was moving towards the music. He seemed to enjoy the music a lot. The duration of the concert was almost 3 hours and he did not seem to be tired at all.

The bass drum player roll on the bass drum like he was rolling on the snare drum. I had also learn about a instrument that is new to me. It produces a sound like wind and it looks like the long whip.

There were also vocals in the performance. It was my first time experiencing a concert like that. I adore the tenor singer as the voice is very low and firm. Lastly, I admired the last piece which was named ' Time To Say Goodbye '.

Overall I enjoy the concert a lot.
That was my own opinion. No offence.
