Our Band

Manjusri Concert Band had a new start since 2009. Our Alumnus , Mr Ed Tan and Mr Yeo Jie Yuan, have joined us in strength assuming the role of music directors for our band.

Focusing on enriching the members in music, discipline, leadership and developing strong esprit de corps, the band organises camps, music exchange programmes and workshops to improve the skills of its members.

Under new directives, our band will be looking forward to performing in the Singapore Youth Festival 2011.

Band Camp Notice

Dear Parent/Guardian,

MANJUSRI CONCERT BAND
NOV/DEC HOLIDAY BAND CAMP

This is to inform you that the band will be having a 3-day 2-night camp from 29 Nov - 1 Dec 2010, in school. A detailed schedule of the band camp will be given to every student on the camp day itself.

In preparation for SYF 2011, the camp aims to boost their self-confidence and eliminate stage fear and also to provide an opportunity to further improve their musicianship skills.

As the school will be subsidising part of the cost for the camp, every student will have to pay $10 camp fee.
