Our Band

Manjusri Concert Band had a new start since 2009. Our Alumnus , Mr Ed Tan and Mr Yeo Jie Yuan, have joined us in strength assuming the role of music directors for our band.

Focusing on enriching the members in music, discipline, leadership and developing strong esprit de corps, the band organises camps, music exchange programmes and workshops to improve the skills of its members.

Under new directives, our band will be looking forward to performing in the Singapore Youth Festival 2011.

Notice

Hi all !

The reason why I am posting this entry is because Jia Ru is now in Malaysia and everyone SHOULD BE asleep now.

Have not being seeing you guys for quite some time. I hope you all had learnt some stuff during your respective camps !

Those who cannot attend march holiday practices, please inform the leaders by monday and state why. Please be reminded the practices from now till SYF is very crucial to what we are aiming for ! The sound check is only exactly in 13days time. Please plan your time well and take care of yourself. Drink more water and see you on monday ! Those who cannot attend soundcheck please try to adjust your timing in order to make yourself present.

Sound check is supposed to check the balance of the band. If one person went missing, it defeats everyone's effort and hard work. Everyone should always remember what we are working on ! ESPRIT DE CORPS ! Everyone should be heading the same direction and no one should be left behind !

In addition, I heard from some of you that you are injured during the camp. Please see adoctor if your wound is swollen and stuff ! Rest well and see you guys on monday's combine !
